Today was our first day with out a model, and it went well for those that could come. There was a nice mood of mutual support, and advice. We discovered how handy builder's laser level is for checking the verticallity of a pose. We had a near-consensus to take up a male torso in the next weeks, given the generous offer of a model tentitively on the 26th. Perhaps we can pull this off in one session, although reviewing that plan might be a good idea. There is now a little plastic skeleton, and Elizabeth gave us a mini lesson and demonstration of the scapula angle as it slides out over the ribs when the arm is brought above the head. I extracted a nice casting of Jim's head. Richard, Elizabeth and I all adjusted the armatured nude from last series. Jim got his start on a rabbit.
